A group of our pupils took part in a Model United Nations day held at Reigate Grammar School.
A Model United Nations (MUN) conference is one in which students play the role of diplomats representing particular countries at the United Nations. They discuss some of the most important issues facing humanity, with a view to proposing realistic solutions to these problems. Through taking part in MUN, participants improve their ability to compromise, persuade and lead. They learn about the world and become more internationally-minded. The aim is to produce a generation of young people armed with the tools to build a better world.
