Visit to The Crown Agents Bank

VI Form Business Studies students and prospective students from Year 11 visited The Crown Agents Bank (CAB) in Sutton where they took part in presentations and discussions on different areas of the bank, such as Human Resources, Front, Back and Middle Offices and engaged in a Q & A session with the CEO. The experience was enriching and interesting for all and we were thrilled to receive excellent feedback from the visit!

“I just wanted to send some feedback about the school insight day at CAB yesterday. The young ladies who attended the Bank were a credit to the school and great brand ambassadors. I ran the HR workshop on CV writing which I thoroughly enjoyed. I hope the girls did to. The girls were so engaged and entered into the spirit of the day beautifully and it was great to see them so engaged. CV writing can seem so far removed for young people whilst studying and therefore it would have been easy for them to be disengaged but this was most definitely not the case.

What a fantastic group of girls with already so much experience of the world and various experiences to bring to the table, it was a joy to be able to share this. In fact it has been the highlight of my week. To hear the group take their experiences and skills and translate that into what that might look like on a CV or applying for college / University applications. They shared about volunteering experience, Young Enterprise, TED talks, DoE etc – it was exciting to hear all the things that make them unique.

Everyone one of the young people were polite, engaged and a pleasure to meet. Thank you.”
