Curriculum in Year 10 and Year 11
At The Laurels, we provide a broad curriculum that goes beyond the bounds of the National Curriculum.
Pupils study core subjects (English, Maths, Religious Studies, and Science. For Science, pupils can choose Combined Science or Separate Science. Pupils also choose from a range of options.
Guidance is provided to all pupils in Year 9, and new pupils joining us in Year 10 are given support as well in deciding on the subjects they will choose.

As well as preparing for exams at the end of Year 11, pupils participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities, a varied and competitive sporting programme and our extensive volunteering opportunities. Of course, Arete is at the heart of the education we offer, ensuring that all our pupils can achieve excellence in all areas of their life.
