How to Apply to the VI Form

We require a minimum of six grades at Grade 6, and at least a grade 7 in each of the subjects to be studied at A level, as well as grade 7 or above in English and Maths where required.

VI Form Applications open 

• Current Students need only complete the VI Form Supplementary Form 
   
• External Applicants should complete the Application Form, pay the application fee (£100) and complete the VI Form Supplementary Form 

• Our A level course booklet is being updated. For now, please read A Level Course Booklet for details of A Levels taught at The Cedars and VI Form Subjects pages for A Levels taught at The Laurels. This will give you an insight in to the subjects we offer, which will be taught co-educationally from September. Psychology, Politics and Classical Civilisation are also going to be offered (interest dependent).

VI Form Scholarships

For the coming academic year 2024-5, we are pleased to announce that a number of Becket Scholarships will be available for prospective Year 12 students.

The Becket Academic Scholarship Programme is open to boys and girls who are predicted to achieve highly at GCSE (typically an average point score of 8 or above, based on best 8 GCSEs) and who aspire to a top university or Advanced/Degree Apprenticeship programme. Successful applicants will also have made exceptional contribution to the life and ethos of the school (or their current school, in the case of external applicants).

Becket Scholars will benefit from a personalised co-curriculum of reading and research to support an early UCAS application to a top university.

Scholarships will be considered case-by-case and can range from full scholarships to 10% of fees.

Becket Scholarship Applications should be submitted by Friday 1st December 2023.
