We offer the best of both worlds in our VI Form education. As well as all the benefits of a girls' school that you would expect - the confidence to choose your future career path with a strong emphasis on STEM, a nurturing and supportive environment, and a tutorial programme focused on girls' needs - A level subject teaching is shared with our brother school, The Cedars, which is situated on the same campus.

A level lessons are taught co-educationally. We believe this means that our girls, who have benefited from the confidence nurtured by a single-sex education in earlier years, are well prepared for university and future careers. If you're joining us for VI Form, you'll enjoy the advantages of both systems, pastorally and academically.

As a VI Former at The Laurels you will be encouraged to acquire the intellectual and character virtues you need to be a happy and successful person. You will be helped to become a woman of reflection and action, to know and love yourself, able to reach out to others.

Teaching groups are small and tailored to you. You and your teachers will know each other well, you will have lots of individual attention to enable you to achieve, and your progress will be followed closely so that you do as well as possible. You will also have a lot of support because you have your own personal tutor with whom you meet regularly to discuss how you are getting on, how you can improve and will help you stay on track.
